Glenn
Loury is a Professor of Economics at Boston University
who previously taught at Harvard University, Northwestern
University and the University of Michigan. His areas
of specialization are microeconomic theory, industrial
organization, natural resource economics and income
distribution.
Dr.
Loury is the author of One by One from the Inside
Out: Essays and Reviews on Race and Responsibility in
America, his take on race relations in the United
States. Since 1985, he has been a Founder and Member
of the Council for a Black Economic Agenda. He also
has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and Ford Foundation
Fellowship.
