Pete
Slosberg...Successful entrepreneur, author, spokesperson
and microbrewer
A
native of Connecticut, Pete earned his Bachelor of
Science and Masters of Business Administration from
Columbia University before embarking on an executive
career with Xerox, ROLM and IBM. In 1979, he attempted
to make wine in his kitchen. After several tries,
Pete became impatient with the time it took for wine
to mature, so he started making beer instead.

He
borrowed $50,000 from friends and officially opened Pete's
Brewing Company in northern California in April, 1986. The
fifteen beers created by Pete are now marketed in all 50 states
and the United Kingdom.
Pete
wants to make his audiences happy, so he will customize to
meet the needs of his sponsors. If it is a history of the
influences of beer on our society's language, customs and
products, he will tell you all about it. If it is a description
of how beer products are made, the components of each and
the reasons they taste as they do, you will learn from a master.
Throughout his presentation, Pete will offer personal stories
of his own entrepreneurial experiences, related with humor
and humility by an Ivy League graduate. Pete's Wicked World
of Beer is as serious as you want it to be--and as entertaining.
